On July 24, we welcomed family, friends, customers, and members of our community into the Indigo Laine storefront to celebrate ten years in business.
People traveled from San Antonio, Houston, San Marcos, and other parts of Texas to spend the day with us. The shop was filled with familiar faces, good conversation, plenty of laughter, and so many reminders of the people who have supported us along the way.
Celebrating Ten Years Together
Indigo Laine began in a spare bedroom with a big dream, plenty of determination, and a growing pile of leather scraps.
For nearly eight years, we worked from home, cutting, sewing, finishing, packing, and shipping every bag ourselves. In 2024, we opened our workshop and storefront at 117 South Rachal Street in downtown Sinton, finally giving our team a place to put down roots and welcome customers through the doors.
Celebrating this milestone in the space we now call home made the day especially meaningful.
The Blue Collar Collection
During the event, we released our Blue Collar collection, featuring denim and familiar bag silhouettes inspired by our early years and the hardworking people who shaped us.
My husband is a welder, my dad’s family worked in construction for 50 years, and my grandmother owned a sewing business for 20 years. Working with your hands, making something useful, and taking pride in a job well done have always been part of the world around us.
Every bag in the collection was handcrafted and completely one of a kind, which made watching each one find its person even more special. By the end of the event, the entire Blue Collar collection had sold out.
We were thrilled, grateful, and still taking it all in when the doors closed.
Our Story in the News of San Patricio
Following the celebration, the News of San Patricio featured our first ten years, the Blue Collar collection, and the community that has supported us along the way.
There is an extra layer to that story that makes the feature especially meaningful. The building we now call home once housed the News of San Patricio, so seeing Indigo Laine featured by the newspaper that once worked within these same walls felt like a full circle moment.

The Next Chapter Is Already Taking Shape
Ten years has given us plenty to celebrate, and we’re just as excited about what’s ahead.
