The Scout Bag is your everyday full-grain leather satchel, with room for your essentials in a structured shape that's smaller than a tote. IndigoLaine&Co's signature scallop detail gives it a distinctive finish, while the leather only gets better with time.
Two oversized exterior pockets keep your most-reached-for items close at hand, and a secure interior pocket keeps smaller essentials organized. From errands and workdays to travel, the Scout holds its shape and keeps the things you need within reach. A removable strap lets you choose how to carry it.

SHIPPING INFORMATION
We ship all orders through USPS. Orders are typically mailed within 1–3 business days of purchase and arrive approximately 3 business days after shipment.

Our leather bags are built to handle daily use without sacrificing structure or style. Reinforced stitching and solid brass hardware provide lasting reliability, while the natural grain ensures each piece is unique. Each piece of our collection is handmade by our team in Texas.
Care & Longevity
Keep it Clean
Wipe your bag with a soft, dry cloth regularly to remove dust and dirt. For deeper cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth—no soaking.
Condition Occasionally
Every few months, apply a small amount of leather conditioner to keep the leather soft and prevent drying or cracking. Always test on a small, hidden area first.
Avoid Excess Moisture
Leather and water don’t mix well. If your bag gets wet, gently blot (don’t rub) and allow it to air dry naturally—never use heat.
Store Properly
When not in use, store your bag in a cool, dry place. Use a dust bag if available, and avoid plastic containers. Stuff lightly to help maintain its shape.
Protect From Sun & Heat
Extended exposure to direct sunlight or heat can dry out and fade leather. Keep your bag out of extreme conditions when possible.

10 Years of Indigo Laine
Indigo Laine started in a spare bedroom with a big dream, plenty of faith, and more leather than one room could hold.
Ten years later, there’s a team of women we love working alongside, a workshop where we’re still making everything by hand, and a community that has been part of this story from the very beginning.
It’s hard to put ten years into a few words, but we’re grateful for every order, every story shared with us, and everyone who has had a hand in getting us here.
